Backyard Bash Shopping Sources.

July 27, 2011 by Michelle Hinckley |

I should’ve know better than to blog about things without sharing where I found them.
I was flattered by the many emails asking where I found the items used for my backyard baby blessing bash. Here’s the scoop:
Glass jars: You can get these just about anywhere including
Crate and Barrel, Target and Walmart.
Cupcakes: So Cupcakes.
Drink dispensers: HomeGoods.

Labels: Erin at Designer Blogs.

Go here to download all the free printable labels.
Glass milk jugs and striped straws: Shop Sweet Lulu.
P.S. I’m in love with this shop!
I could have easily purchased one of everything and planned a party around each item they sell.
Check out some other beautiful things they carry…

Happy partying!

Everything looks gorgeous! This is a silly question but how did you attach the labels to the jars?

  10. Michelle (4 Men 1 Lady) says

    July 27, 2011 at 11:58 pm

    Alley,
I simply cut to slits in the label then threaded a ribbon through the label and tied it behind the jar.

So simple- why didn’t I think of that? Thanks so much!!

I’ve been following your blog for a while now and don’t think I’ve ever commented before. Suffice it to say I love your style. I cannot wait to see what you do with your new home. My question is in regards to the cucumbers in the water. Did you add anything else to the water for flavor? Such a beautiful display. Many blessings…

Love your cute party! I’m about to have one of my own and was wondering what kind of cookies you used on top of the milk jars and where you got them??? I’ve been looking all over and can’t find any!

    • Michelle Hinckley says

      September 2, 2013 at 2:56 pm

I actually found them at Smith’s (just a chain grocery store here in my area). If you can’t find them in the regular cookie isle then check the health food isle. I think they were gluten free or sugar free…something like that. Hope you share pictures of your party!
