Arcadian Lighting Review.

August 2, 2012 by Michelle Hinckley |

Yesterday I revealed my redone hallway.
One of the new additions in the hallway are these lovely new light fixtures from Arcadian Lighting which are Trans Globe Flush Mount Fixtures.
It has been said that one of the most neglected elements in a remodel is attention to lighting.
These two pictures were taken at approximately the same time of day.
In both pictures the walls are white (although slightly different shades) but the difference is huge.
Obviously it would be more bright in the “after” because we did add another light but the brightness seems to more than double. Also, look at the difference in color of the light that is cast.
Adding a light above the cabinets was one of the smartest thing we did and can now finally see what’s stored in there.

What I also love about these fixtures is that they give off a bright white light that is also soft and not harsh.

Plus, they look like ceiling jewelry.
Working with Arcadian Lighting was a really easy experience and shipping was quick.
They also offer a 120% price guarantee policy which is really cool (read more here).

These are gorgeous! And not too expensive, either. Can’t wait to see the rest of the house!

We rarely get to see the finished remodel or see a product at work. I’m glad it turned out great. The hallway looks wonderful!

These lights are fantastic! I am actually wishing I would have known about them a month ago..we just replaced lighting in several areas and I was struggling to find hall fixtures. These would have complimented my dining fixture (just posted on my blog earlier this week) as they have a similar look.

    TFS!

I love the look of your hallway! We have the exact globe lighting you had before you put up your new fixtures. Did you have to change any wiring or were you able to just put up the new fixture? I showed this lighting to my hubby and he loved it.

Shut. Up. I have these fixtures picked out for my closet! Pinterest. It makes you feel like you’re halfway through renovation even though you’re just sitting on your bum drinking coffee…

Looks great! Just had a quick question for you, can you tell me what kind of light bulbs you use. I am always looking for ones that don’t cast a “yellow glow” but haven’t very much luck. It either looks yellow or florescent. Thank you.
