AMPLIFI Review and Giveaway.

May 7, 2012 by Michelle Hinckley |

This past week we received the AMPLIFI Hose Powering System in the mail to review.
What is it?
AMPLIFI is a first-of-its-kind hose powering and storage system by Briggs & Stratton. The AMPLIFI powered settings provide 3x the pressure, 4.5x the force and 2x the flow of a regular garden hose. It features an electric motor and pump, a five-setting spray nozzle with Detergent-on-Demand™ capability and an attractive, durable hose storage container. AMPLIFI is an always-ready solution for everyday and spur-of-the moment cleaning and watering tasks with no set-up time.
So I gave it a go.

OK, so I hammed it up a little for the camera but in all honesty I was quite surprised by the amount of punch this little sprayer packed.
First, I tackled the sidewalk cracks and all sorts of gross gunk came out of them.
Next my husband sprayed the neighborhood kids.
Then we watered the jungle of scrub oak in the front yard.
Then my son washed the car.
Then the Mr. sprayed off a whole bunch of other things including the house eaves, the trampoline, the windows, his car, me (then the fun was over).
Learn more here:

Want one?
AMPLIFI is giving away another system (valued at $199.) to one lucky winner.
(Perfect gift for Mother or Father’s Day…wink! wink!)

Oh this is awesome! I have always wanted something stronger than the jet setting on my regular hose sprayer. Wish I’m the winner!

I’d use it to clean our back patio. We love our dog but I do not love the mud she tracks onto the patio all winter.

  7. Rebekah says

    May 7, 2012 at 4:40 am

Our sidewalk and driveway need some deep cleaning action and it looks like this system would do the trick! Next we would spray out the garage, the porch, clean the car, and water the garden. So many things this is useful for. Thanks for offering the giveaway!

  8. Joanne says

    May 7, 2012 at 4:48 am

I would clean my patio and probably wet down some squealing kiddies too.

  9. Mindy says

I would definitely use it for our garage, porch, and sidewalk. It would change what our neighbors think of us for sure! 🙂

This would be great to use in cleaning our waterfall/pond that is round 45 ft in diameter and holds close to 5,000 gallons of water. The rocks that surround the inside of pond become ugly with algae. I have to let water evaporate really low so I can go inside of pond to clean algae from the top portion of rocks and hope fish in pond will not die while going thru cleaning process(low water). This would provide us with healthy fish and a great looking pond. debthong7

  17. Kim says

    May 7, 2012 at 11:12 am

I would gift it to my dad! I’m having a fence built in his backyard–so the pressure washer would be great to keep not only his siding looking great but the fence looking good too! I know a deck or porch is in the near future too.

    I tweeted! @oowidescrnoo

  19. patty says

I would use it on our wrap around porch and driveway!!

  20. Kate says

    May 7, 2012 at 11:29 am

It would replace the clunky pressure washer I have now. It’s so difficult to set-up, it never gives me the power spray that I want, it leaks like crazy and I end up with more water on me than on my target project.

If the AMPLIFI does as well as the video shows, it would be a valuable tool to own, and it looks like it would make fun out of those everyday tasks! Thanks for the opportunity!

  21. Kathryn says

    May 7, 2012 at 11:31 am

I was just saying we needed to find a power washer and go after our patio furniture (and patio). Thanks!

How long a list do you want?! I would spray the weeds out of my paver driveway, clean my front porch and back deck from the pollen that seems like it’s there permanently, I’d use the pressure to try to find the leak in my truck’s trunk, then we’d take it to the lake to powerclean the deck and the dock and the boat… and that’s just this week!

We just paid a small fortune to have our house repainted, so I’d use this nifty device to keep it looking as clean as a 1930s house can. And maybe it could help me reach those 2nd floor windows without need for a ladder? Plus the patio, sidewalks, screened in porch, car… I’m pretty sure I’d become heady with power and wield this thing mercilessly!

Continued usage for the sidewalk cleaning, landscape watering, and car cleaning would make this tool one that rivals the lawnmower and edger in terms of usefulness and usage frequency. It’s a great looking hose container, as well 🙂 !
