I’ve picked up a few accesories for the den that I’m super excited about.
I found this old chandelier at an antique shop called “Marche Noir”. I got a superb deal on it (which makes me even more fond of it).
A little black spray paint and Ooohhhh la la!
(Props to my wonderful hubby who re-wired it, hung it, and made it light up! Props to myself for not dropping it, while standing on a stool, holding it straight above my head, arms shaking, and beads of sweat running in my eyes.)
I also found these vintage locker baskets at another antique shop here in Tucson called, “The Paris Flea Market.” Old wire baskets are my thing (and purses too).
I’ve always admired apothocary jars and finally bought myself a couple. Man, these things are expensive! Luckily I finally used the gift card that my dad gave me to Pier 1 over a year ago. Thanks dad!

I totally can relate to the “holding up the lamp with shaking arms” feeling. Its a hard position to keep. I can’t wait to see all of these wonderful decorations in real life next week.
Do you arrange all these things by your bedside at night?

i love your decor…i have been looking for wire baskets too. i have some projects for gregg or my dad to make me a beautiful entry/mud room bench seat thing. i think gregg is happy i haven’t found any baskets yet……
