In 2007 my husband started this blog as a way to keep our families up to date on our lives. At that time I had no idea what a blog was. I never could have imagined it would have turned in to such a fun and creative journey. Each year it always surprises me to see how much we accomplished because frankly, although totally rewarding, raising 4 men is the hardest and most time consuming job I will ever embark on. Here’s a look back on a few of our projects in 2015 of our pursuit to bring beauty to a house full of men.
The bunk room got a room refresh.
At about that same time the oldest boy decided he was too mature to be sharing a room with his younger brother so he moved in to the spare bedroom which sparked another makeover.
If you remember how the room started you know it came a long way from the junk room it once was.
There were several projects within this room that became major projects in an of themselves.
Such as, this wall…
and this brick wall.
He also got a pretty snazzy steel dresser which absolutely became the bane of my existence during the refinishing process.
We also gave this boy a desk.
which received not just one makeover…
but two…
With all the furniture refinishing we tackled for this bedroom I started to try my hand at other school surplus pieces.
This book cart had seen better days before I got my hands on it.
I painted this blonde wood bookshelf a two-toned gray and yellow which I regretted selling as soon as it went out the door.
This stair wall got it’s 4th makeover.
And we did little projects here and there around the house.
DIY Poster Frame.
On the outside of the house we also kept ourselves busy adding some curb appeal.
Tuff Shed Makeover.
My 4 men and I made some of the best memories ever doing something I thought I would hate.
And we even survived a 20+ family, family reunion cabin/camping style.
Thank you all your wonderful readers for following along with us in our pursuit to bring beauty to a house full of men.

We also want to thank all our wonderful sponsors in 2015 who had faith in our vision to feature their products and services on our blog.
