It was a special day for this 4-year old.
Would you believe a few months ago I stood at line at 4:00 AM to ensure a spot at this preschool? Even at 4:00am I was still something like 21st in line. It was worth it!
A new year, a new room number.
This little guy wasn’t about to be left out of all the preschool fun. (He was totally miffed when I packed him back in the car with me when it was time to leave).
Brownies gone in 10 seconds flat!
Me: “Tani, how was your first day of school?”
Tani: “Good.”
Me: “What did you do at school?”
Tani: “I don’t remember.”
Me: “Did you meet any new friends?”
Tani: “Yeah.”
Me: “Who?”
Tani: “I don’t know. Can I watch Caillou?”

He is too cute!

I love it! I love how he responds, he’s not much into the conversation! He just wants to watch Caliou!

Your boys are cute!! I am sure you will be having that same conversation even after he starts elementary school. Something happens from the time the bells rings to the time they walk outside of the school. They “forget” what they learned until you put them to bed that night and they suddenly remember all the things they were supposed to tell you!

Oh very cute and I think I would have gobbled those brownies up just as quickly. Yum.

Awww. he is totally adorable by the way. My 3 yr old is coveting every kid that is in preschool right now. We’re still on the waiting list for a spot to open up. The conversations will get better I promise…my now 10 yr old was like that.

I pretty much had the same conversation yesterday!

isn’t it the truth? you know you get all pumped up and can’t wait for that big special day then to our dismay they are men of few words and just want the questions to stop and sit and relax!
