My first son is growing up.
I blinked and he became a mini-man.
He’s as tall as me, wearing size 10 men’s shoes and his voice is noticeably deeper.
I was walking behind him in the mall the other day and a group of tweenage girls stopped in their tracks, did a double-take at him and started whispering.
Yup we’re there.
Wah.
One of the benefits of him maturing is he’s finally starting to take an interest in his appearance (hallelujah, it’s about time).
When I got my Cricut machine I told him it could make t-shirts…he was all over that.
This past weekend we got on Pinterest for some t-shirt inspiration and this is what we landed on…

We found the Superman emblem online then designed the wording on Picmonkey and uploaded them to Cricut’s site.
Next, the Cricut machine did all the work on a small piece of iron-on vinyl.
What I love about the Cricut machine is that it has different settings to cut through the top layer of the vinyl only but not the backing.
We removed the excess negative spaces and ironed it on.
He’s hooked and ready to open up a t-shirt shop.

Love the shirt. I felt the same with my kids- blink and you miss it! My eldest is now 18, and the baby about to be 1……which I am not ready for!
